Temporary traffic regulations will be implemented on Sunday, 27-04-2025, in areas of Palaio Faliro and Alimos due to the holding of the "16th International Poseidon Athens Half Marathon and Other Races" on one traffic lane of Poseidonos Avenue towards Alimos, from the Trocadero tram stop to Amphitheas Avenue.
ATTENTION: The traffic flow on Poseidonos Avenue towards Alimos, P. Faliro, Syggrou Avenue, and Piraeus remains uninterrupted and ALWAYS OPEN.
Detailed traffic regulations: Temporary and gradual interruption of vehicle traffic, from 05:00 to 13:00, as follows:
- Poseidonos Avenue, from the section between Syggrou Avenue (Psallidi position) and Amphitheas Avenue, traffic flow towards Glyfada.
- Old Poseidonos Avenue, from the height of its intersection with Ioannou Fix Street to the height of its intersection with Nea Poseidonos Avenue, traffic flow towards Glyfada.
During the above traffic regulations, vehicle movement will be conducted as follows:
For traffic flow from Athens to Glyfada: via Amphitheas Avenue. For traffic flow from Piraeus to Glyfada: Syggrou Avenue (towards Athens) - Zisimopoulou - Agios Anargyron - Amphitheas Avenue.
Temporary and gradual interruption of vehicle traffic and prohibition of their parking and stopping, from 04:00 to 13:00, on P. Ioannou Avgeri Street (in front of Averof-Demotiko Kolimvitirio P. Faliro), in the section between Aphrodite Street and Moraitini Street (in front of TAE KWON DO), and in both traffic lanes.
The Police urge vehicle drivers to be particularly careful when passing through the above points to prevent traffic accidents, and to follow the existing road signs and the instructions of the traffic officers.
