Cancellation Policy - Transfer or postponement fee

Registration fees are non-refundable. 
However, in the event that the athlete will not be able to participate in the race, he/she has the option to choose one of the following cases:

1. Transfer of the registration fees for the next Poseidon Athens Half Marathon free of charge until March 20, 2025.
   
   
2. Races changes can only be made until registration closes on 20 March 2025 αnd provided that the race participation limit has not been reached:
   a) from the Half Marathon to the Quarter Marathon or the 5km Road Race or the 5km Power Walking.
   b) from the Quarter Marathon to the 5km Road Race. or in Power Walking 5km.
   c) from Road Race 5km. in Power Walking 5 km.
   
   
3. The costs associated with issuing coupons are NON-refundable under any circumstances.
   a) Coupons that have not been used for your registration in upcoming races cannot be transferred to a subsequent races of the Poseidon Athens Half Marathon under any circumstances.
   To clarify, for those who have used the coupons and have already registered for a race, the above options 1 and 2 for transferring or changing races apply as they do for all participants.

   b) The last day to use the coupons will be March 20, 2025 (registration deadline).

4. Cancellation of the 2025 Event by decision of the Government, due to Covid-19 or any other cause of force majeure: In this case, a forced transfer of registration to the next event will be made, subject to the terms and conditions of the new event.
   In the event that the Government limits the number of entries for health reasons, a first come, first served basis will be followed and for those remaining, a forced transfer to the next event will be made.
   
   
5. If, for the second consecutive year, the races cannot take place due to force majeure, then the entire registration fee, minus the withheld VAT of 24%, the bank transaction fees, as well as the fees of the different provider issuing electronic receipts directly through the Tax Office that were withheld and remitted on the day of your registration, any applicable profit taxes, plus 10 euros for administrative support expenses, will be refunded with the bank's current regulations, to you through your cards.
   
   
6. Any other matter concerning accounting entries will be examined 30 days after the races have been held.
   
   
7. Your contribution to the NGO "ALMA", for children with mental retardation and autism, is non-refundable and we thank you very much for it!
