Each race course has been carefully designed to lead participants through some of the most iconic landmarks and stunning seaside locations of the Athens Riviera, following the spectacular coastline of Faliron Bay and offering a unique running experience by the sea.

Important Notice

Participants are kindly informed that the official time limit for the Half Marathon is 3 hours.

Athletes who have not completed the race within the official time limit may continue their effort, at their own responsibility, using the sidewalk from the point where they are located when the time limit expires.

Upon completion of the 3-hour official time limit, the race course will be reopened to normal vehicle traffic under the supervision and instructions of the Hellenic Traffic Police.

Welcome to the registration system of the Poseidon Road Run, 5 km

Registrations for the Half Marathon will close on Saturday, March 20, 2027, or earlier if the maximum participant limit is reached.

For runners who register by Saturday, March 20, 2027, their name will be printed on their race bib.

For any updates leading up to the race day on April 25, 2027, and beyond, we recommend staying informed through the official event website and the "NEWS" section.

1. REGISTRATION INFORMATION

Registrations must be completed by Saturday, March 20, 2027 or until participation limits will be covered.

2. REGISTRATION CATEGORIES

There are three types of entries:
1. Individual registrations. (Citizens outside European Union)
2. Individual registrations.(European Union Citizens) 
3. Group registrations, which for groups of 10 people or more. (Citizens outside European Union & European Union Citizens)

Group registrations allows one person to register multiple people, from running clubs, public and private organizations and any other group or company who would like to participate in the Half Marathon Race.

Groups’ leader can participate in the race as a team member, or not participate at all.

Groups’ leader will represent the group towards the organizing committee.

3. PARTICIPATION LIMITS

The participation limits for Roseidon Road Race & Power Walking 5 km 3.000 participants.

Successful entries constitute personal data and are not transferable to third parties.

Entries are first submitted, then validated and finally announced by e-mail or posting on the web site:  www.poseidon-athenshalfmarathon.com

In case a runner grants their participation number to another runner, they shall be solely responsible for any personal accidents or incident that may occur during or after the completion of each race.

4. REGISTRATION FEE

Each registration fee in the Poseidon Road Run 5 km includes part of the total cost of the race as well a VAT 24%:

A) Individual entries - Citizens outside European Union:

Α.1) BASIC PACKAGE

• 35 € - until 30.06.20226 or until 500 registrations
• 37 € - until 31.08.2026 or until 1,000 registrations
• 39 € - until 31.10.2026 or until 1,500 registrations
• 41 € - until 31.12.2026 or until 2,000 registrations
• 43 € - until 28.02.2027 or until 2,500 registrations
• 45 € - until 20.03.2027 (last day to register) or until 3,000 registrations
• 47 €  until 3 April 2027 (if there are available spots) with online individual registration through the registration system.
• 50 € - until 24.04.2027 for last-minute personalized entries, provided the production companies can prepare them, after prior consultation with the organization by first checking availability through the form in the contact menu "here."

Changing your submission time can be done for free until 20 March 2027 (end of registrations).

A.2) ENHANCED PACKAGE The enhanced package includes the services of the Basic Package and additionally 1 cotton apparel for €19 or 1 technical apparel for €19 or both for €38 (including 24% VAT).

Changing the size of the commemorative apparel or your submission time can be done for free until 20 March 2027 (end of registrations).

A.3) FULL - TOURIST PACKAGE (the package is now being configured)

The full package includes the services of the Enhanced Package and additional services.

B) Group  - Citizens outside European Union (from 10 adults, respectively):

The full-tourist package includes the services of the Enhanced Group Registration Package and additional services.

Free registration will apply to athletes with vision, hearing, and disability issues if they register until 20 March 2027 (end of registrations).
After this date, a general participation fee of €15 will apply.
To ensure the health of persons with disabilities, a recent medical certificate must be provided, certifying that the participant is capable of completing the race, e.g., the 21.1 km race alone or with a companion.
BENEFICIARIES LIMIT: 5% of the total entries.

5. CANCELLATION  OR TRANSFER FEE POLICY

In any case, registration fees are non-refundable. However, if the athlete is unable to participate in the race, they can choose one of the available options. For a detailed and up-to-date description of the applicable rules, we recommend that you check "here" before completing your registration.

6. PAYMENT OPRTIONS

If you have, also, chosen to get the race T-shirt, then you should add:

7. REGISTRATION  PACKAGE

The registration package consists of the following:

♦ Pick-up service for runners who drop out the race
♦ Refreshments stations with water/isotonic drinks/bananas along the course, as well as at the finish line
♦ Personal items drop off area next to the start line
♦ Various refreshments drinks at the finish area

8. RACE KIT COLLECTION

The participation package will be collected at the Municipal Indoor Gymnasium of Paleo Faliro "Sofia Befon", (on Ioannou Avgeri Street, 200 meters after the battleship "Averof").

All courses are designed to go through the most beautiful sights of the Faliro Bay.

Course: Start from outside the Cultural & Sports Center (POL.A.K.) of the P. Faliro Municipality, near the Battleship “Averof” and the trireme Olympias. Immediately after the start, carefully turn right at the northern entrance of Flisvos Marina, cross it completely, and at the southern exit, turn left and run or walk along the road outside the marina.

At the height of the Trocadero tram stop, turn right to reach the traffic lights on Poseidonos Avenue, and then turn left towards Agia Skepi. Turn completely left and run through the fields and Agios Georgios Park towards the Esplanade. There, turn right, then turn left midway and run on the rooftop of buildings of notable beauty and elegance, which also includes a path for the visually impaired. As far as we know, no similar route is incorporated into any comparable design in Greece or abroad.

Next: Once you reach the Esplanade, turn right towards Water Square and continue straight towards the tall columns. Just after passing them, turn left and run towards the SEF (Peace and Friendship Stadium). At the height of the Kallithea Nautical Marina, turn left, then left again towards Water Square and Agia Skepi. Turn completely right, staying in the right lane (towards the sea) towards the Trocadero tram stop. At the traffic light with the pedestrian bridge, turn right towards the Battleship "Averof" and then run or walk straight to enter the track of the Sports Center to finish.

NΟΤΕ: There is a cut off time , different for each race, which is set by the Organization. After the cut off time the traffic police will reopen the traffic to cars. If runners still decide to continue, they do this at their own risk, and they will need to be using the sidewalk and be mindful of the oncoming traffic.

Refreshment Points will be at the starting point and along the route per 2,5 km.
