Thank you to all runners from Greece and around the world who honor us with their presence year after year and have helped transform the Poseidon Athens Half Marathon & Other Races, one of Greece’s most important gateways for international runners and sports visitors.

All cources are designed to pass through the most scenic landmarks of the coastal area of the Faliro Bay in Athens.

NOTE: Participants must be aware that after the time limit set by the Organizing Committee for their respective race has elapsed, they may continue their effort at their own responsibility on the sidewalk, wherever they happen to be on the cources at that time.
After this time limit, the Traffic Police will reopen the race course to vehicle traffic

Welcome to the registration system of the Poseidon Power Walking, 5 km

Registrations for the Half Marathon will close on Saturday, March 20, 2027, or earlier if the maximum participant limit is reached.

For runners who register by Saturday, March 20, 2027 their name will be printed on their race bib.

For any updates leading up to the race day on April 26, 2027, and beyond, we recommend staying informed through the official event website and the "NEWS" section.

1. REGISTRATION INFORMATION

Registrations must be completed  by Saturday, March 20, 2027  or until participation limits will be covered.
Participants over 18 are authorized to attend the Half marathon race (born at or before 2004)

 2. REGISTRATION CATEGORIES

There are three types of entries:
1. Individual registrations. (Citizens outside European Union)
2. Individual registrations.(European Union Citizens) 
3. Group registrations, which for groups of 10 people or more. (Citizens outside European Union & European Union Citizens)

Group registrations allows one person to register multiple people, from running clubs, public and private organizations and any other group or company who would like to participate in the Half Marathon Race.

Groups’ leader can participate in the race as a team member, or not participate at all.

Groups’ leader will represent the group towards the organizing committee.

3. PARTICIPATION LIMITS

The participation limits for Road Race 5 km & Power Walking 5 km 3.000 participants.

Successful entries constitute personal data and are not transferable to third parties.

Entries are first submitted, then validated and finally announced by e-mail or posting on the web site:  www.poseidon-athenshalfmarathon.com

In case a runner grants their participation number to another runner, they shall be solely responsible for any personal accidents or incident that may occur during or after the completion of each race.

For refund of the registration fee or race number transmission policy please check paragraph No No 5.

4. REGISTRATION FEE

Each participation entry in the Power Walking Race, to cover part of the total cost of the races, including 24% VAT, amounts in:

Individual entries - Citizens outside European Union:

BASIC PACKAGE (without electronic timing)

25 € - until 30.10.2026 
26 € - until  31.12.2026, (last day to register)
27 € - until 2044.2026, after application and approval.

GROUP ENTRIES (from 10 adults, respectively) - Citizens outside European Union
25 € - until 30.11.2026  
26 € - until  20.3.2027, (last day to register)
27 € - until  24.4.2027, after application and approval.

INDIVIDUAL ENTTRIES - European Union Citizens:
15 € - until 31.10.2026  
16 € - until 20.3.2027, (last day to register)
17 € - until 24.4.2027, after application and approval.

GROUP ENTRIES (from 10 and 3 adults, respectively) - European Union Citizens 
15 € - until 31.10.2026  
16 € - until 20.3.2027, (last day to register)
17 € - until 24.4.2027, after application and approval.

Changing the size of the commemorative apparel can be done for free until 20 March 2026 (end of registrations).

Free registration will apply to athletes with vision, hearing, and disability issues if they register until 20 March 2027 (end of registrations).
After this date, a general participation fee of €10 will apply.
To ensure the health of persons with disabilities, a recent medical certificate must be provided, certifying that the participant is capable of completing the race, e.g., the 21.1 km race alone or with a companion.
BENEFICIARIES LIMIT: 5% of the total entries.

5. CANCELLATION  OR TRANSFER FEE POLICY

In any case, registration fees are non-refundable. However, if the athlete is unable to participate in the race, they can choose one of the available options. For a detailed and up-to-date description of the applicable rules, we recommend that you check "here" before completing your registration.

6. PAYMENT OPRTIONS

If you have, also, chosen to get the race T-shirt, then you should add:

 ♦ 15 €, cotton T-shirt, VAT included
 ♦ 15 €, technical T-shirt, VAT included
 ♦ 30 €, if you have chosen both, VAT included

Accepted payment is made by a debit or credit card: Visa, MasterCard, Maestro.

7. REGISTRATION  PACKAGE

The registration package consists of the following:

01. A race kit which includes:

♦  Payment invoice (VAT 24% included) 
♦ Participation race medal
♦ Participation race e-certificate
♦ Individual or team awards. Totally 35 awards for all races
♦ Pacemakers’ runners service in the Half Marathon Run & 1/4 Marathon Run
♦ Portable sanitary facilities along the course
♦ Pick-up service for runners who drop out the race
♦ Refreshments stations with water/isotonic drinks/bananas along the course, as well as at the finish line
♦ Personal items drop off area next to the start line
♦ Various refreshments drinks at the finish area
♦ Showers and /wc at the finish area.

8. RACE KIT COLLECTION 

The participation package will be collected at the Municipal Indoor Gymnasium of Paleo Faliro "Sofia Befon", (on Ioannou Avgeri Street, 200 meters after the battleship "Averof").

All courses are designed to go through the most beautiful sights of the Faliro Bay.

Indicative: Cultural and Sports Centre of the Municipality of Paleo Faliro – crossing Marina Flisvou- battleship "Averof" & trireme Olympias- Faliro Pavilion (TAE KWON DO) - the 50 meter wide footbridge of the Esplanade and up to the Metropolitan Park of Kallithea, which has recently started being manufactured by the Foundation "Stavros Niarchos" the new National Opera, the new National Library and the environmental park.
Water Plaza - Yacht Marina of Kallithea- beach Volley and along the –under construction- environmental park, between the mouth of Kifisos and Ilisos river.
Peace and Friendship Stadium - Faliro Marina, up across the southern side of the Peace and Friendship Stadium, etc.
Specifically, participants of Power Walking will walk on buildings roofs for 500m, in a really beautiful route in which there is a special route for blind people.

Refreshment Points will be at the starting point and along the route per 2,5 km.
