The 17th International Posidonia Half Marathon returns dynamically to the Athenian Riviera, starting from the Cultural & Sports Center of Palaio Faliro, delivering a fully integrated sporting experience that extends far beyond a conventional road race.
This year, the event proudly welcomes the ALFA Higher Education Institutes as its Exclusive Educational Partner, actively reinforcing the powerful connection between SPORT – EDUCATION – VOLUNTEERISM.

For Young Runners
Students from the Early Childhood Education and Occupational Therapy Departments provide complimentary face painting and creative activities during the 1 km Kids Race, transforming participation into a joyful celebration.
For Post-Race Recovery
Physiotherapy students offer professional relaxation massage and recovery support at the finish area — because PROPER RECOVERY IS PART OF PERFORMANCE.
For All Participants
The Culinary Arts Department curates a dedicated PASTA STATION, exclusively for registered participants, elevating the post-race hospitality experience.
This holistic support — combining structured recovery services, creative engagement for children, and a thoughtfully designed gastronomic offering — is NOT COMMONLY FOUND IN ROAD RACES.
At Posidonia, the experience does not conclude at the finish line; it continues with CARE, ORGANIZATION, and GENUINE SUPPORT for every participant.
More Than a Race - A Landmark Sporting Experience
The Posidonia Half Marathon serves as one of the most significant entry points for international athletes visiting Greece and stands as a key sporting reference on the Athenian Riviera.
A distinguished part of the program is the “ALMA” Social Contribution Race (1 or 2 km), supporting the ALMA Association, which stands beside children, adolescents, and adults with disabilities — reinforcing the event’s SOCIAL RESPONSIBILITY DIMENSION.
