The Poseidon Athens Half Marathon is more than just a road race. It is a complete experience — one that continues even after runners cross the finish line.
This year, the event is preparing a special moment of hospitality for all participants through a unique collaboration with SAEK ALFA – Culinary & Hospitality Department and Melissa Pasta, who are joining forces to offer runners a memorable culinary experience.
On Sunday, April 26, 2026, once the races are completed, runners of all ages will be invited to enjoy a complimentary pasta dish at the finish area through a specially designed Pasta Station.
The dishes will be prepared by the culinary students of SAEK ALFA, who, together with their instructors, will cook fresh pasta for the athletes of the event — transforming the finish area into a welcoming space of relaxation, recovery, and celebration.
Runners will receive their pasta in individual bowls, designed for easy and convenient enjoyment after the race, allowing them to share the moment with fellow participants, supporters, and friends of the event.
With the quality and flavor of Melissa pasta, a brand that has been “at the heart of every moment” for decades, the finish line experience becomes even more special. Because moments filled with flavor are always better when shared.
For runners, a plate of pasta after a race is more than a tasty reward. It is also one of the most classic and effective ways to support post-race recovery, helping the body replenish valuable energy after intense physical effort.
This offer is available to all athletes participating in the event. By presenting their bib number, runners will be able to receive their complimentary individual pasta bowl from the Pasta Station after crossing the finish line, while supplies last.
The initiative represents a warm gesture of hospitality and appreciation for all runners who bring life to the event and honor us with their participation — traveling to Athens from every corner of Greece and from around the world.
Each year, the Poseidon Athens Half Marathon welcomes athletes from five continents, with participants representing more than 60 countries and over 80 nationalities, further highlighting the event’s strong international character.
At the Poseidon, the experience does not end at the finish line. It continues with hospitality, care, and moments worth sharing.
We would like to extend our sincere thanks to SAEK ALFA – Culinary & Hospitality Department and Melissa Pasta, two leading organizations in their fields, for supporting this year’s event and helping create an even richer experience for our athletes.
📍 We look forward to welcoming you at the finish line to celebrate your effort in the most delicious way!
