The Poseidon Athens Half Marathon returns for its 17th edition, alongside its parallel races, with Flisvos Marina of LAMDA once again supporting the event as Hospitality Sponsor, further reinforcing a long-standing and valued partnership.
On Sunday, April 26, Flisvos Marina will open exclusively for the event, welcoming all race routes through its premises. Participants will enjoy a distinctive race experience along the seafront, set within an elegant waterfront environment that defines the Athenian Riviera. Throughout the event, the Marina’s team will be actively present, ensuring smooth operations and supporting runners every step of the way.
Marking its 17th year, the Poseidon Athens Half Marathon continues to evolve beyond the concept of a conventional road race. It brings together sport, natural beauty and hospitality into a cohesive experience, set against the unique backdrop of Flisvos Marina.
The event will take place on Sunday, April 26, featuring accessible and updated routes along Athens’ southern coastal front. The race programme includes six events: the Half Marathon (21.1 km), Quarter Marathon (10.5 km), 5 km Road Race and Dynamic Walking event, 1 km Social Contribution Race, and 1 km Kids Race.
The half marathon and 5 km courses are officially measured and certified by World Athletics and AIMS, and the event is included in the annual international racing calendar. It is also classified in the ZETA 2 category of international road races and forms part of the official race programme of SEGAS (Hellenic Athletics Federation).
Under the message “Run & Walk. Give Value to Your Steps!”, the event seeks to raise awareness of key public health issues, including obesity and diabetes.
