Temporary Traffic Regulations – Sunday, April 27, 2025

Temporary traffic regulations will be implemented on Sunday, April 27, 2025, in areas of Palaio Faliro, Kallithea, and Alimos, due to the "16th International Poseidonia Half Marathon and Parallel Races." These regulations will affect one lane of traffic on Poseidonos Avenue, in the direction from Agia Skepi towards the Trocadero tram stop and Alimos, up to Amfitheas Avenue.

⚠️ IMPORTANT: The traffic lane of Poseidonos Avenue in the direction from Alimos, Palaio Faliro, Syngrou Avenue, and Piraeus will remain open and will not be closed.

TRAM OPERATION:
During the race hours, the tram will operate normally, but trains will not stop at Trocadero station. Instead, they will stop one station before and after Trocadero, where the Palaio Faliro Municipal Sports Center is located (start & finish area).

More specifically:

1. Line 7 (Agia Triada – Piraeus):
   Will operate up to its terminal station at Agia Skepi.
   ➝ From there, it is a 15–20 minute walk to the Palaio Faliro Municipal Sports Center (Start–Finish).
2. Line 7 (Asklipieio – Voula):
   Will operate up to its terminal station at Floisvos Park.
   ➝ From there, it is also a 15–20 minute walk to the Municipal Sports Center.
3. Line 6 (Fix – Terminal Station):
   Will terminate at Mouson station.
   ➝ You can cross at the pedestrian crossing (towards the sea) and take Line 7 (Asklipieio – Voula), getting off at Floisvos Park.

Traffic Restrictions on Sunday, April 27, 2025 – "16th International Poseidonia Half Marathon and Parallel Races"

Due to the race event titled "16th International Poseidonia Half Marathon and Parallel Races," the following temporary traffic regulations will be in effect in parts of the Palaio Faliro and Alimos municipalities:

Temporary traffic suspension from 05:00 to 13:00 on the following roads:

• Poseidonos Avenue, between Syngrou Avenue (Psalidi junction) and Amfitheas Avenue, in the direction toward Glyfada.
• Old Poseidonos Avenue, from its intersection with Ioannou Fix Street to its intersection with New Poseidonos Avenue, direction toward Glyfada.

During this period, vehicle traffic will be rerouted as follows:

• From Athens to Glyfada: Syngrou Ave (toward Glyfada/Piraeus) → Amfitheas Ave → Poseidonos Ave.
• From Piraeus to Glyfada: Syngrou Ave (toward Athens) → Zisimopoulou → Ag. Anargyron → Amfitheas Ave or Dimosthenous → Amfitheas Ave.

Temporary traffic suspension and parking restrictions from 04:00 to 13:00 on P. Ioannou Avgeri Street (in front of the Battleship Averof – P. Faliro Municipal Swimming Pool), between Afroditis and Moraitini Streets (in front of the TAE KWON DO stadium), in both directions.

Drivers are kindly requested to exercise heightened caution in these areas, follow posted road signs, and comply with traffic officers' directions to ensure safety and smooth traffic flow.
