On behalf of the Organizing Committee of the International Poseidon Half Marathon, we are pleased to introduce our event and explore the opportunity for a future partnership with your travel agency.
The 17th International Poseidon Half Marathon will take place on Sunday, April 26, 2026, along the stunning Athenian Riviera. Our event is a proud member of the AIMS (Association of International Marathons and Distance Races) and has grown into one of the most prominent running events in the region, combining sporting excellence with cultural and natural beauty.
In our latest edition, held in April 2025, we welcomed runners from 70 nationalities representing 48 countries across all five continents. Notably, our event is now recognized as the second-largest international gateway for foreign athletes entering Greece, reflecting its strong global appeal and influence in sports tourism.
The event offers a variety of races: the Half Marathon, 10K & 5K runs, family and youth races, and inclusive routes for runners with disabilities. It is designed to attract not only experienced athletes, but also families, clubs, and travelers seeking a unique sporting and cultural experience in Athens.
We firmly believe that travel agencies play a crucial role in making international participation seamless and enjoyable. We would be delighted to partner with your agency to offer tailored participation and hospitality packages, enabling your clients to take part in a truly memorable event in one of Europe’s most iconic destinations.
In the appendix there is a brief description of the process of purchasing vouchers from the Travel Agency.

APPENDIX
With the voucher system, you now have the option to purchase group vouchers for our races (with or without commemorative apparel such as a t-shirt).
These vouchers will be issued directly to your office, and you will be responsible for registering your clients.
Example: Travel Agency AB purchases 50 Half Marathon vouchers that include commemorative t-shirts.
After successful registration and payment, the agency receives one voucher corresponding to those 50 race entries for the Half Marathon.
Travel Agency AB will then register its clients who wish to participate in the Half Marathon by entering the voucher code into the registration form of the event and completing each runner’s registration on their behalf.
The same process applies to the other races: the Quarter Marathon, the 5 km Road Race, and the 5 km Power Walking event.
Depending on the number of entries purchased through group vouchers, a corresponding discount rate will be applied for the Travel Agency.
