We thank all the runners who honor us every year with their presence and have made the International Poseidon Half Marathon, Paleo Faliro and the wider area in the Municipalities of Alimos and Kallithea, one of the most important gateways for international athletes to our country!

All cources are designed to pass through the most scenic landmarks of the coastal area of the Faliro Bay in Athens.

NOTE: Participants must be aware that after the time limit set by the Organizing Committee for their respective race has elapsed, they may continue their effort at their own responsibility on the sidewalk, wherever they happen to be on the cources at that time.
After this time limit, the Traffic Police will reopen the race course to vehicle traffic.

1. REGISTRATION INFORMATION

Registrations must be completed by Friday, March 20, 2026 or until participation limits will be covered.
Participants over 18 are authorized to attend the Half marathon race.

2. REGISTRATION CATEGORIES

There are three types of entries:
1. Individual registrations. (Citizens outside European Union)
2. Individual registrations.(European Union Citizens)
3. Group registrations, which for groups of 10 people or more. (Citizens outside European Union & European Union Citizens)

Group registrations allows one person to register multiple people, from running clubs, public and private organizations and any other group or company who would like to participate in the Half Marathon Race.

Groups’ leader can participate in the race as a team member, or not participate at all.

Groups’ leader will represent the group towards the organizing committee.

3. PARTICIPATION LIMITS

The participation limits for Half Marathon & Quarter (¼) Marathon are up to 5.000 participants.

Successful entries constitute personal data and are not transferable to third parties.

Entries are first submitted, then validated and finally announced by e-mail or posting on the web site: www.poseidon-athenshalfmarathon.com

In case a runner grants their participation number to another runner, they shall be solely responsible for any personal accidents or incident that may occur during or after the completion of each race.

For refund of the registration fee or race number transmission policy please check paragraph No No 5.

4. REGISTRATION FEE

Each registration fee in the Half Marathon Race includes part of the total cost of the race as well a VAT 24%:

A) INDIVIDUAL entries - Citizens outside European Union:

Α.1) BASIC PACKAGE

44 € - until 30.11.2025 or until 1,000 registrations
45 € - until 31.12.2025 or until 2,000 registrations
46 € - until 31.O1.2026 or until 3,000 registrations
47 € - until 28.02.2026 or until 4,000 registrations
48 € - until 20.03.2026 or until 5,000 registrations (last day to register)
49 € until 5.04.2026 (if there are available spots) with online individual registration through the registration system.
50 € - until 25.04.2026 for last-minute personalized group entries, if production companies are able to process them. Prior coordination with the organizers is necessary—please check availability via the contact form "here."

Participant allocation for the 5,000 total entries:
80% for the Half Marathon – 20% for the Quarter Marathon, with the flexibility to adjust the ratio to 70% and 30% respectively.

From 21-31 March 2026, you can also change your submission time, but with a payment of € 4 to cover operational costs by clicking "here" and then informing us by clicking "here."

A.2) ENHANCED PACKAGE The enhanced package includes the services of the Basic Package and additionally 1 cotton apparel for €16 or 1 technical apparel for €16 or both for €30 (including 24% VAT).

Changing the size of the commemorative apparel or your submission time can be done for free until 20 March 2026 (end of registrations).
From 21-31 March 2026, you can also change the size of the commemorative apparel or your submission time, but with a payment of € 4 to cover operational costs by clicking "here" and then informing us by clicking "here."

A.3) FULL - TOURIST PACKAGE (not provided in 2026)

The full package includes the services of the Enhanced Package and additional services.

B) GROUP entries - Citizens outside European Union (from 10 adults, respectively):

Free registration will apply to athletes with vision, hearing, and disability issues if they register by 20 March 2026 (end of registrations). After this date, a general participation fee of €15 will apply.
To ensure the health of persons with disabilities, a recent medical certificate must be provided, certifying that the participant is capable of completing the race, e.g., the 21.1 km race alone or with a companion.
BENEFICIARIES LIMIT: 5% of the total entries.

Entries must be completed no later than 20 March 2026, or earlier if maximum limits are reached.

5. CANCELLATION OR TRANSFER FEE POLICY

In any case, registration fees are non-refundable. However, if the athlete is unable to participate in the race, they can choose one of the available options. For a detailed and up-to-date description of the applicable rules, we recommend that you check "here" before completing your registration.

6. PAYMENT OPRTIONS

If you have, also, chosen to get the race T-shirt, then you should add:

♦ 16 €, technical T-shirt, VAT included
♦ 32 €, if you have chosen both, VAT included

Accepted payment is made by a debit or credit card: Visa, MasterCard, Maestro.

7. REGISTRATION PACKAGE

The registration package consists of the following:

♦ Participation race medal
♦ Participation race e-certificate
♦ Individual or team awards. Totally 35 awards for all races
♦ Pacemakers’ runners service in the Half Marathon Run & 1/4 Marathon Run
♦ Portable sanitary facilities along the course
♦ Pick-up service for runners who drop out the race
♦ Refreshments stations with water/isotonic drinks/bananas along the course, as well as at the finish line
♦ Personal items drop off area next to the start line
♦ Various refreshments drinks at the finish area

8. RACE KIT COLLECTION

The participation package will be collected at the Municipal Indoor Gymnasium of Paleo Faliro "Sofia Befon", (on Ioannou Avgeri Street, 200 meters after the battleship "Averof").

All courses are designed to pass through the most beautiful landmarks of the coastal zone of Faliro Bay.

Course with 2 Laps: Start: From the Cultural & Athletic Center (POL.A.K.) of the Municipality of Palaio Faliro. - Upon exiting the Athletic Center, head right toward the "Averof" Battleship and the trireme "Olympias". Then, turn left at the northern entrance of Flisvos Marina. - Run through the entire marina to its southern exit and make a sharp left, continuing along the exterior of Flisvos Marina in the direction of the TROKANTERO tram stop. At the traffic light, turn sharply right and run along Poseidonos Avenue on the right-hand side (toward the sea) heading toward Alimos and Amfitheas Avenue, where a U-turn is made.

At the TROKANTERO tram stop, continue straight along Poseidonos Avenue on the left-hand side (toward the sea) heading toward Agia Skepi. Turn sharply left, passing through the sports fields and Agios Georgios Park, running toward the Esplanade. There, turn right, then midway through, turn left and run across the rooftops of uniquely beautiful and architecturally significant buildings, which also feature tactile paving for the visually impaired. This segment is a one-of-a-kind route, unparalleled in both Greece and abroad, integrated into such a design.

Next: After descending to the Esplanade, turn right toward Plateia Nerou (Water Plaza) and head straight toward the tall columns. After passing them, turn left and run along the road heading toward SEF (Peace and Friendship Stadium). At the Nautical Marina of Kallithea, turn left and then left again, heading back toward Plateia Nerou and Agia Skepi. Turn sharply right, always staying on the right-hand lane (toward the sea), heading toward the TROKANTERO tram stop. At the traffic light with the pedestrian bridge, turn sharply right toward the "Averof" Battleship. Then, turn left at the northern entrance of Flisvos Marina to begin the second lap.

After completing the second lap, the finish line is within the track of the Athletic Center of the Municipality of Palaio Faliro.
