Kevin Cormier hails from Holliston, Massachusetts, USA, and has been living permanently in Athens since 2019.
Accompanied only by a simple drum beat, he uses the bass not just for its traditional role, but to provide harmonies and melodies, creating a complete musical performance that showcases the true capabilities and power of the instrument.
When performing on the streets, he draws inspiration from artists such as Victor Wooten, Marcus Miller, Stanley Clarke, Charles Berthoud, creating captivating medleys ranging from funk and metal to Greek traditional music.
Although his locations may vary, you can usually find Kevin performing in front of the Church of Panagia Kapnikarea in the afternoon or early evening. Be sure to stop by if you have the opportunity!
