Participant Donations 2024 - Charity Run 1 & 2 km for the purposes of the "ALMA" Association, for children with intellectual disabilities and autism

Social Responsibility

Since its inception, the Poseidon Half Marathon, in order to support the "ALMA" Association for children with intellectual disabilities and autism, has included in its events a Social Contribution Race of 1 or 2 km.

To participate in the Charity Race individually or as a group, school, etc., each person pays a symbolic amount or any larger amount they wish directly to the "ALMA" Association's bank account.

In addition to the special race, with the operation of the new registration system, in recent years we have also included the option for every participating runner in all races to optionally contribute any amount they wish to the "ALMA" Association.

We thank the 253 domestic and foreign runners who, during the registration process, included an amount to support the "ALMA" Association.

The extra amount collected from both actions amounted to 2,381 euros and was delivered to the "ALMA" Association on the day of the races during the Group Awards ceremony.

The Organization provided the "ALMA" Association with the list of contributions so that the Association could send emails to personally thank each contributor for their social sensitivity.
